Steered Straight Inc. has only done minimal outreach and given few presentations since our full-time schedule in 2002.
|
But we are pleased to announce that beginning with the 2007-2008
school year, Steered Straight will once again bring prevention and intervention
presentations to all 21 counties throughout New Jersey, expanding primarily
into Southern New Jersey and to Philadelphia as well. (Click here to view a list of upcoming events.)

Our primary prevention message is geared toward middle-school and high-school audiences, and our focus will be on this population.
|
We have successfully acclimated ex-offenders who bring powerful consequential messages about the dangers of substance abuse, criminal activity, violence, and vandalism. We have a proactive program to warn students about the misleading glamour of gangs.
