Port Norris Middle School, Port Norris, New Jersey
Steered Straight, Inc. brought the most powerful presentation seminar to date into the 6th, 7th and 8th graders of Port Norris Middle School on Monday.
Steered Straight featured:
· up and coming New Jersey youth organization FED-UP 4U featuring James Cooper;
· Robert “Midget” Molley, who has been featured on the History Channel, Biography Channel, and BET’s American Gangster series; and
· Def jam Recording artist “Young Leek”, an Atlantic City native and one of the fastest rising young rap stars today. He is working with Ne-Yo, Kanye West, Sean Kingston and Lady GaGa and he has a dynamic message to the students about choices, staying in school, and the importance of relationships with parents.
The three featured presenters shared their stories with the students, and captivated them for over 2 ½ hours.
