Did you know that there are children in foster care who will bounce between the foster care system and their biological parents 3 or 4 times before gaining a permanency option such as adoption?
Children in foster care are given a court appointed advocate. These individuals are usually social workers or attorneys however, it is important to note that these individuals don’t HAVE to be attorneys or social workers.
A child is brought into foster care when their parents are unable to provide a safe and stable environment for them.
